  • Aerate at Least Once Annually to Improve Root Depth as Well as Air, Water, and Nutrient Flow for Thick Healthy Drought Resistant Lawn Turf.
  • Treat Moss/Weeds 1-3 Weeks Prior to Using Aerator and Thatcher.
  • Mow Lawn Short Before Using An Aerator and Mark/Flag Any Irrigation Heads to Prevent Damage.
  • Water the Soil! Summer Hardened Soil is Frustrating and Makes the Process of Aeration More Difficult.
  • Use an Aerator First to Relieve Soil Compaction and Improve Root Depth.
  • Follow with Power Rake/Thatcher to Break up Plugs and Comb Out Thatch/Moss/Weeds.
  • Rake Up Loose Material and Add a Soil Amendment or Sand Into Aeration Holes.
  • Overseed @ 5 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. to avoid Bare/Thin Spots in Your Lawn.
  • Cover Seed with a Lawn Seed Mulch and Water (It is Best to Water the Grass Seedlings 2 to 3 Times a Day for About 5 to 10 Minutes Each Time. This Way you Replace Any Water that has Evaporated Without Oversaturation. It Amounts to 3-4 Inches of Water Per Week.)
